Since 1998 the BIU has been enjoys a corresponding relationship with the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA). Since June 1998 it has been a charter member of the Nigeria Theological Education Council (NITEC), through which it is seeking accreditation through the Accrediting Commission for Theological Education in Nigeria (ACTEN).

BIU credibility in the international academic community. Accordingly, it has established close working relationships with both Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, USA, and Asbury Theological Seminary, in Wilmore, Kentucky, USA – for the purpose of Postgraduate Studies. These affiliations are done through the exchange of teaching faculty and various forms of academic consultancy.
Bible Impart University is a member in good standing with the Association of Christian Schools International and peer accredited through the International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries. Peer accreditation is a recognition of standards, policies, and programs of like-minded institutions free of government involvement. These organizations are dedicated to creating and offering quality theological education. It is important to consider that: the degree programs of this college are designed solely for religious vocations.
