WELCOME TO BIBLE IMPART UNIVERSITY

Our aim is to equip the whole man with the whole gospel for the whole world

DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

Bible Impart University’s goal is to train leaders in all areas of ministry and service unto God. The Diploma in Christian Counseling Program has been designed to meet the needs of individuals who are interested to gain some lay counseling skills and biblical knowledge to assist themselves in being better people-helpers in their churches and among their own circle of influence. One of our key objectives is that those who attend our courses will grow in a greater awareness of God, of self and of others. Such awareness is not only therapeutic but it can also result in more abundant living. Churches will be built up as Christians grow spiritually and holistically for ministries.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Program Requirements: To graduate with a Diploma in Christian Counseling, the student must complete 24 credits with an acceptable Grade Point Average (GPA). The 24-credit courses include three major areas – Counseling Skills, Marriage and Family, and Individual Counseling Issues.

Each is a one-credit course except for Guided Experience which is the only two-credit course. The skill-based portion of the program consists of 7 courses plus Guided Experience. The other two areas, Marriage and Family and Individual Issues are knowledge-based courses and are electives. Students are welcome to attend courses which are more important to their perceived counseling situations or they may attend every course while making a choice to audit or take credit on different months.

Most of the skilled courses do not have prerequisites, with the exception of A Structural Approach for Counseling, Advanced Counseling Skills, and Guided Experience. The student must complete all core skill courses and at least 18 credits before enrolling in Guided Experience.

Diploma in Christian Counseling 24 credits total
